Interview
The take home project was very straightforward and I went above and beyond. I got told that I didn't have enough tests (had some for every service and controller). Seems like they wanted a perfect project with prod level testing and estimated it to be only a 6 hour project which is ridiculous with those expectations. The interview and project where every easy but their expectations are not reasonable.

Talked about my past projects and how you have handled difficult situations.
The process went through seven steps, which took a few weeks to get through. Some of them are formalities, like checking references. The first two steps, the value-add and tech screen, give you a good sense for the culture and whether this is a place you'd like to work. The take-home project was OK, and is a nice way to show what you can do.
