The screening was straight forward. They pressured me to give them a salary number and would not provide a salary band or even a budget for the position. Later in the interview process the question was asked again but it was not a negotiation. I was pressured into giving a specific number and no counter or feedback. The assessment was a brutal 3 hour process. Strange questions and problems to solve. Very difficult and taxing. The hiring manager and top executive was great. He asked insightful questions and gave encouraging feedback. He was obviously very experienced and was willing to share and encourage success. He gave productive feedback which raised my excitement at the possibilities of moving forward. Then they ghosted me. Crickets. Several interviews and hours of assessments for a colossal waste of time.
