HeliMods Engineer interview questions

HeliMods asks for a lot, and as such the interview is quite long. Generally they will run a series of tests (between a Tim Tam and coffee in the office cafe!) designed to test both your technical skills and your interpersonal skills. I personally underwent tests in: (a) structures (eg. bending and shear calculations on paper) (b) CAD design (c) report writing (d) oral presentation This is then followed by a one on one chat with the managing director. The oral presentation was particularly fun as the subject of it was tailored to your own interests. After this, a general online emotional intelligence test is sent to the applicant for them to complete within a couple of days of the interview.
