I was contacted by a recruiter within a week of applying for an APM role at Heery. The following week, I interviewed with the hiring manager, and the interview went very well. He expressed excitement about both my experience and candidacy.
The next week, I interviewed with a director from Heery as well as the client director for the account. Again, both were very candid about their enthusiasm regarding my background and fit for the role.
After a week passed without any communication, I sent a follow-up email to the hiring manager, as he had encouraged me to do during the interview process. I did not receive a response. After waiting a few more days, I reached out to the recruiter, who was initially unaware of the status but promptly followed up with the team. He later informed me that they had decided to move forward with another candidate.
