I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Hedvig (Sweden) in Jul 2020
Interview
This might be the funniest interview I have ever experienced, but the recruiter is definitely the most unprofessional one so far.
I got the initial interview invitation from the recruiter who said that he'd like to have a phone talk the next day (without confirming the exact time). So the next day I had been waiting for his phone call the full day, ended up with nothing. And on the third day morning I got a rejection said "there are other candidates who better match what we're looking for at this stage."
Hey dear recruiter, do you really think I have unlimited time and would love to wait for you all day long? There are tons of other ways to reject people while showing them your respect, at least you could conduct the phone interview as promised and make your decision later. Also remember don't put your fake politeness like "Don't be discouraged! Good luck and have a nice day!" in the end of your emails in this scenario, that would render you as a hypocritical recruiter even more.
Hi, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Like many others, this is one of the several growing pains of a start-up. We are bringing people to the forefront of our business. We will dig deeper into your experience and use this feedback to improve. So much so that I would encourage you to apply again and notice this difference first hand.
