A recruitment coordinator reached out to me, scheduled the interview, and I met with a HealthCore manager. I applied online at Anthem though and it wasn't explained to me HealthCore was a subsidiary until I asked, which made it very confusing.
I didn't understand what the previous review below me meant by 'mean girls' until I did the panel interview. I was interviewed by three ladies + the manager that interviewed me for the initial screening. Nobody cracked a smile nor did they introduce themselves properly - ex: "My name is XYZ and I've been with HealthCore for 2 years" (which isn't helpful to get to know the team). They were not very warm people to talk to and didn't seem to have an interest in speaking with me. I was very tempted to just end the call, that's how unbearable it was talking to them.
It was the most awkward interview I have ever encountered. I think the panel should reword their questions better, for example instead of asking "What is your communication style," simply ask "Give me an example of when you encountered a difficult situation and how did you communicate to your project team?"
