You are called by some recruiter or by some consultant hiring, then followed up by the above rounds. Includes everything from technical skills to communication skills, past experiences, stressing upon your knowledge in financial application and expertise in some technical application or tool. Manager round will be a close interaction with or without your direct hiring manager who may ask some tricky or out of the way questions. So it will be a good experience to take this sort of an interview. Clear up everything related to your perks, hike, designation, role, company policies before you join the organization.

It was a campus recruitment which takes 2 days to ends up all the process. First day we had only analytical objective questions. Shortlisted student went for group discussion on next day followed by two technical interviews and after that HR round. Whole process was quite good, dignitaries of company were really awesome.

basic question like difference between stack and queue, interviewer asked my area of interest and asked question based on my interest.

But after these rounds I was asked to go to Gurgaon location of the company and then there were 2 more f2f interview...one technical and one manager round.
So in total I had given 6 rounds of interview for the post of software engineer.

Question were basics from the engineering subjects like c,c++,testing,software engineering etc.... and also what do you know about the company,why headstrong etc.
They had asked me everything starting from my introduction to almost all programming languages.
