I had an interview with 3 people on separate dates. They were all very kind. In the end my skills didn't align with their ideal candidate. They took a long time to tell me that I didn't get the position, but it's okay

Describe a time you were challenged with a difficult coworker and how did you handle it?

Interview
It was fairly standard, a virtual meeting was scheduled and I was asked to introduce myself and my research after which he told me a bit about his own. There were no oddball questions or particularly difficult ones.
Submitted application and was invited for an interview the next day. One video call interview, more like a conversation with two members of the lab. Both were very friendly and interview was enjoyable.

Pretty simple interview process; you meet a PI, find a grad student, and then decide on hours and if there are projects you'd be a good fit to work on.
