Interview
I applied online about 2 weeks ago. I was called on 08/14/17 for an interview and I then interviewed 2 days later. The interview experience was very easy going. The manager asked basic questions and I was offered the job on the spot. We then proceeded to take the drug test and filled out paperwork for the test. He told me I would receive an email to accept the offer and then go forward with a background check.
Straightforward process and not too difficult of questions. Went to corporate office, there were several other candidates there to interview as well. All went through interview process around the same time other candidates in separate areas, and then rejoined once interview was completed to start onboarding.

Interview
I apply through the Harris Teeter careers website.
Then In-Person, lasts about 20 minutes
Very casual and conversational.
They ask Basic questions like “Tell me about yourself.”
“How would you handle an unhappy customer?”
“What would you do if an item scans the wrong price?”
Pretty simple and straight forward, the hiring manager was nice. I'm a full time student so it was a low level part time position. If you have even average conversational skills you should be just fine.
