Mostly behavioral, some questions about how you value stocks. Seems like there isn't a set list of questions they ask, and it's more up to the interviewer. Didn't receive response for a few weeks but ended up with a rejection.
I think that the interview process at Harris is semi difficult. The intial interview is more of a screen and then you talk to some more people. I thinik it helps if you go ot the university of chicago
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about a stock that you would hold for 30 years
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Harris Associates in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was too convoluted. You get screened by the recruiter on a 30 minute call, get a 1 on 1 30 minute interview with the hiring manager, move on to a "panel interview" (not really a panel, you had to interview with 3 people individually for 30 minutes and the interviews occurredback to back, instead of a singular meeting with all 3). Finally, you do one more interview in office.
Its too much. if you have to interview 6 times that means the hiring manager and team have no idea as to what they want. Its a shame because i liked the hiring manager and the role, but you quickly get interview fatigue when there are so many you have to somehow convince.
