I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hallmark (Clifton, NJ) in Apr 2017
Interview
It was not bad. They asked mainly personality questions and then I had to explain a little bit about myself. The boss was very nice and understanding. I enjoyed it a lot.
I spoke with three different executives and was specifically applying for the Christmas movie department. On top of the interviews there was a creative assessment. I learned a lot about how Hallmark makes their movies, a positive interview experience.

Question 1
Creatively they wanted to know my approach to storytelling.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hallmark (Kansas City, MO) in Oct 2013
Interview
Very lengthy; several telephone interviews along with two half day interviews with almost a dozen people in total.
Some people were great interviewers while others had no clue as to how to ask questions of a potential candidate.

Why do you want to work at Hallmark? Everyone asks this question and it is such a canned question that you can give a canned response and be good to go.
