      Application

I applied through university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Halliburton

      Interview

Started with on campus interviewing. Then I had got an invitation to go tour a facility and commence 2nd round interviewing. They said it would be a couple weeks before I hear back however it has been 6 weeks and I still have not heard back. Everyone was absolutely fantastic and their hospitality is satisfactory. From my view, Halliburton appeared to be a company I want to be apart of. I was indeed inspired from that tour to enroll in a Concurrent Design class in order to better prepare myself for such a place. Overall, great experience and I do see myself fitting in however I am not so sure about this dramatic waiting period for a job offer that is taking much longer than they had informed me of.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Halliburton (Carrollton, TX) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Got a call from a recruiter at Halliburton about a job as a design engineer in the completion tools department. After expressing my interest, the recruiter scheduled me for a phone interview with a hiring manager for the next day. The phone interview was about 30 minutes long in which time the hiring manager described the basic setup of the department I would be working in and what my job would entail, asking about my background, and discussing what engineering concepts I would be expected to answer questions on if I were to be called in for an on-site interview. After I ended the call, my recruiter called to ask how things had gone and let me know that she would call back either later that day or on Monday if they were interested in bringing me in for a second interview. As promised, on Monday the recruiter called to set up an on-site interview. Everyone I interacted with was very polite, prompt, and seemed quite organized.
