Interview
Formal 60-minute in-person interview with HR and hiring manager. No initial phone screen and no follow-up interview. Largely "tell us about a time when" questions. Average difficulty - no super tough questions but have to have relevant experience to be able to answer the questions truthfully.

It was a technical and behavioural interview. They asked me nine questions, all related to database management and data security. After these nine questions, they asked if you had any questions you could ask.

Question 1
Tell us about yourself.
How can you manage working with different parts of the company?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Halifax Water (Halifax, NS) in Jan 2025
Interview
Interview was with 5 different people all at once. Each interviewer had their own set of questions, with many repetitions. Questions were extraordinarily generic, showing that no understanding of your resume/cv was given before the interview. Questions were asked in a list form, with no personal or contextual questions given. I was also left alone in the interview room for some time, which was also quite cold (15 degrees) while waiting for people to show up.
Additionally, you're asked to complete a personality and IQ test from The Predictive Index before the interview. These tests are known to be highly irrelevant and unreliable.
