I applied for a Saturday job but they had no vacancies available. I then managed to find employment elsewhere and then got a call inviting me to an interview with Halfords 3 months later. It was good to see they had remembered my application and were very friendly over the phone.
Relaxed chat with with relaxed chat with people and staff to decide which was the best uniform and where I would fit in the company.

Interview
Like a general conversation with the store manager. What interests you have focused on Bikes, Tech and Cars. What abilities do you have and what drives you. If the conversation goes well then they will invite you for a practice day shadowing someone and then a decision should be made on that day.

Called to interview but I had a new job already so I did not pursue it. Person I spoke with over the phone was very friendly and wished me the best so overall a short but positive experience.
