Interview
Arranged via external recruiter. Was told it would be a 3 stage interview. Hiring Manager, their manager and further meet and greet.
Had 1st stage interview with hiring manager. Spoke about the organisation, role remit and my experience in dealing with relevant categories.
Interview was on a Friday and told I should hear back the following Tuesday.
Followed up once via recruiter who had no update. Then radio silence for 5 weeks.
Would have been good to receive feedback - positive or negative. Poor experience.
There is an epidemic of internal and external recruiters ghosting candidates who take time out of their schedules to interview, which is a real shame.

Interview
The process was led by internal HR, with several people involved across different stages. It began with a very positive conversation in which HR confirmed I was their lead candidate, followed by an interview with the hiring team. After that step, I didn’t hear anything back for about four weeks, despite sending multiple follow-up emails. Eventually after I reached out to the hiring manager, HR called to let me know they had extended the offer to another candidate, adding that I should have deducted that outcome from the prolonged silence. Extremely disappointed by their behaviour

I applied online and had 3 rounds of interviews with hiring manager and other directors in the organisation following which was ghosted without any feedback. Poor candidate experience and unprofessional recruitment process. Postive or Negative - least the company could do is provide feedback to candidates that have dedicated time for the interviews.
