The first round was online reasoning and numerical tests, which were quite standard for most companies. The next was then a phone interview with HR. Questions were mainly competency-based. The final round was with the hiring manager of the department that I applied to.

Verbal Reasoning Test (~15 min, 15 questions) – Evaluate written information and determine if statements are true/false/cannot say
Numerical Reasoning Test (~15 min, 8-10 questions) – Interpret financial data, percentages, graphs
Inductive/Logical Reasoning Test (~15 min, 8-10 questions) – Identify patterns in shapes/symbols
Values Assessment (Situational Judgement Test) (~30 min, 15-25 scenarios) – Rank responses to workplace scenarios aligned with HSBC's core values: Dependable, Open, Connected

3 1-on-1 interview, with band 3, case study. They don't look at your CV, a set of standard private banking questions, both technical and behavioural, prepared by HR, pretty chill, you will also have a QA section, so be prepared
one HR round, superday with 3 MDs over zoom if you are not in the city, the questions are very standard and pretty much the same for all the candidate, it followed different themes
