Graduate Development Program (Now Executive Management Program) Interview

      7 Oct 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC in Nov 2010

      Interview

1, online application/initial resume screening/aptitude and personality test (the aptitude test is very time-pressured and the personality test is just gruelingly boring...) 2, phone interview (30 mins) 3, panel interview with 3 or 4 people (30 mins) Behavioral questions, no technical questions. Focus on leadership qualities as well as communication, teamwork, project management skills.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

What do you know about HSBC and what makes you suitable for the role?

      Question 2

Tell me about your leadership experience? (In place of leadership experience, also "customer experience", "sales experience", "project management", "conflict resolution", etc)
