Very easy, they ask about a difficult time with a croaker and how you worked thru it. Pretty simple situational questions too.
Shadowing is almost immediately too and staff is nice
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (West Palm Beach, FL) in Feb 2020
Interview
First, I was invited to take online assessments prior to the actual in person interview. Then, once in the interview with the Nurse Manager of the floor, she asked more questions regarding why I wanted to work for their hospital and in that unit specifically, making sure my values aline with their mission. Questions were asked again from the assessments themselves to try to understand why there were any inconsisties in answers and to possibly catch any lies. A couple of staff members were called into the office to ask their own questions, and I am assuming to check on chemistry and friendliness; I would assume also so that she could ask them after their opinions of the possible new staff member. After, she asked if I had any questions for her, which I did about the overall culture of the leadership and about upward movement career opportunities. After, since things were going well, she gave me a small tour and then left me to meet with the CEO of the hospital. That was pretty much the end until an offer letter was presented after a couple days.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work for this specific hospital?
It was not very organized, it was a panel interview in which I was there for 7+ hours. I do not think an interview should take for than an hour including panel interviews, if you count a tour maybe max 3 hours. It is like working a full day
Good interview. Went quick. Had to shadow the nurses on the floor after sitting with manger for a hour then went back with manager to finish interview. Peer interview as well.
