If you’re an external candidate, be advised, HCA promotes from within for leadership positions and they have a proven track record of wasting your time if you’re an external applicant/candidate for director roles and above. Despite favoring internal candidates, which may be a good practice for those who work there, the company seems to still have quotas for phone interviews and perhaps even in person interviews. Don’t be surprised when you complete a lengthy application and assessment, and have a very rushed phone interview with a recruiter, only to be rejected quickly afterward before the hiring manager even knows you exist. That position you’re qualified for will likely be given to someone with much less experience but who was promoted from within the company.
