I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2017
Interview
Very regimented interview questions. They had us practice a lot in nursing school with these types of questions to prepare us. Group and/or peer interviews. Started with the director and manager and then did the peer panel.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Along the lines of "Tell me about a time when you had an unhappy patient and what you did to turn the situation around to make a positive impact on them." or "Tell us about a time when you worked with someone culturally different than you and how you handled the situation."
Very standard, began with recruiter screening and then pivots to direct manager interview with another nurse leader. Interview process lasted about 2 weeks turnaround time. Easy questions, and easy to talk to!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare
Interview
I shadowed the unit with one of the employees, then I spoke with the manager after. It was very casual and didn't feel like an interview. I was offered a position not too long after.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (Gainesville, FL)
Interview
Average interview experience. Lasted 30 minutes and shadowed unit. Interviewed by other RN as well. Asked typical interview questions. Very quick interview and hiring process. Took about 3-5 days to answer.
