      Intern - Hourly Interview

      14 Aug 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Stamford, CT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HARMAN (Stamford, CT) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Had an employee referral, but also applied online. About a week or two later I got an email to schedule a phone screening. Phone screening was fine, they just run through your resume and ask mostly behavioral questions. A few days later I got an email asking if I could come in for an in person interview. Day of the in person, spent 15-20 mins with the hiring manager, did more fit questions. Then had a one-on-one with the Executive Vice President of Operational Excellence (HARMAN created this title, this division now encompasses Internal Audit, M&A, and IT) in that interview it questions about which division you prefer, and why you're the right fit for it (I interviewed for M&A). About a week later I got a call from the hiring manager extending an offer
