I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2011
Interview
After applying online, I received an email that my application was accepted then received a phone call wanting to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview took about an hour.
Then about a week later they called to schedule an in person interview. After the in person interview they said they'd get back to me within 2 week by email or phone. I received a call within that time and they wanted to do a second interview. So after going in for that it ended up being a job offer. But after leaving I had checked my email. Had received an email thanks me for my interest in h&m but at this time they were nit hiring or something. So I called they said I had gotten it by mistake and was definitely hired.

I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Dundalk) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Brighton, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
