I applied online directly through the store because I saw a job opening on Indeed. I applied on May 31st, 2021 and the manager called me back for a phone screening on June 2nd. He asked me a couple of questions such as why H&M, what is your availability, why did you leave your last job/position, and then he asked to set up an interview that week and I chose June 4th so that I could have time to research more about their company and what type of questions they would ask. I was super nervous about the interview because I have really bad anxiety. It felt pretty casual, he told me how the interview would go and he said he only has 4 questions so he told me about his career, and he asked me to tell me about myself (I spoke about how I am in college, and my past job position and what I did there), he gave me a scenario "the store is a huge mess with clothes everywhere, there is a long line at cash, and you have so much to do in the stock, what order would you do them in and why, he asked how would you sell or tell a customer about the loyalty program, and he asked why do I want to work for them. He also asked me if I did any research about their company and I told him a few facts about their values and how they're trying to be very sustainable. And in the end, he said when he decides what location I am more of a candidate in, he'll let me know and for his location, he said I wouldn't have to do another interview and if he put me in another location I would have to do a second interview with the store manager over there. He also said that if I go to another location make sure I know about the values and what is my favourite value and why. He called me on June 7th and offered me the job at his location so I didn't have to do a second interview :) I start June 18-22nd!
