I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at H&M in Apr 2016
Interview
Pretty basic interview process. About 2 weeks after I applied online I received a phone call from their HR department and had a brief phone interview that couldn't have been more than 10 minutes long. Was asked the basic "When have you had to deal with an upset customer and how did you deal with it?", "what is your availability like?", and was asked what I knew about H&M. Was told right after my phone interview that they wanted to have me for an in-store interview which was scheduled for the next week. This one was over 30 minutes long and was with the store manager. When I went in she was dressed in beat up jeans and a t-shirt so it felt pretty laid back. None of the questions really surprised me and lots of them called for similar answers to the point I felt like I was repeating myself.

Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.

Interview
Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
