I applied online. I interviewed at Guy Carpenter in Oct 2025
Interview
Did a digital interview. Was like Hirevue but through Phenom. They asked me four questions and I had 3 minutes to respond to each. They allow up to 2 retakes. You aren't allowed to go back to previous questions. I flopped the first two questions. For the first one, I needed to do a retake (couldn't get my response in on time) but took too long to click "yes I would like to retake" (I was taken to the next question even though I still had about 10 seconds left on the timer). For the second question, I wanted to do a retake as well for that one but accidentally tried clicking back to the previous question because I got anxious and wasn't reading the directions carefully. So I couldn't redo the question anymore. I learned my lesson by the 3rd and 4th questions.
Moral of the story, please take a deep breath, read the directions very carefully, and get through the software program speedily (have confidence!) so you don't risk prematurely timing yourself out!
