I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Guitar Center (Hendersonville, TN) in Nov 2016
Interview
I met the Interviewer at a hotel because they were opening a location that had not been fully opened yet and he and I talked for about 15-20 minutes. Overall I would say it was more casual in nature and a judgement of my personality rather than qualifications that is typically taken care of by the online resume.
Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.
Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed

Interview
Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
