I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Guidepoint (New York, NY) in Aug 2018
Interview
The initial interviewer was kind and genuinely wanted to understand me better as a candidate. Although we realized I was not a good fit for the role based on the limitations of the position the interviewer remained kind and was willing to keep my information on file for future consideration.
The interview was quite lengthy. The TA screen lasted over 30 minutes, which was unnecessary. The person from the Talent Acquisition team kept speaking non-stop without giving a chance to respond or ask questions — it felt overwhelming.
The first round interview was conducted online via video call. The atmosphere wasn’t bad. I occasionally got some “what if” questions. But I was asked “Do you have any questions?” about five times.
