I was contacted by a curator for a phone interview. We went over my qualifications and interests in upcoming exhibitions. She described some of the duties I would perform and asked about my career goals/

How do your interests and experiences relate to the exhibitions you would be working on?
Straightforward and efficient. Enjoyed the conversation and had meaningful discussions with multiple people in the department. In-person and virtual meetings. The only flag is the low compensation. Mission focused but with multiple rounds of vetting.

A 30-40 minute phone interview where we covered my relevant job experience and their relevance to the job responsibilities. I was asked to explain how my undergraduate major, past internship experience, and volunteer work related to the job; why I was interested in curatorship; and why the Guggenheim.
