I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Grunley Construction (Rockville, MD) in Jan 2024
Interview
The environment didn’t feel welcoming, and it was clear they weren’t interested in making me feel comfortable. The overall process was difficult, uninviting, and lacked any sense of hospitality or support.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Grunley Construction (Rockville, MD) in Aug 2022
Interview
HR walked through their benefits package. I then entered an interview with the director of marketing and a designer. I showed a selection of work and they asked about the process behind each project. We concluded the interview with more of a standard Q&A, and they explained the take home test project, which was a simple infographic design. The interview process was overall pleasant but I was ghosted for a month until the automated email rejection was sent.
