Interview
There were totally 4 rounds in the selection process:
1. Aptitude Test: The test comprised of two sections with 30 questions each. The first section comprised of moderate level quantitative and logical reasoning questions. The second section comprised of basic to moderate level verbal ability questions.
2. Group Discussion: Based on our test scores, 200 odd students were selected for the Group discussion round. Each group had 10 students and they were being moderated by 2 panellists from the company. The topics of the GD were very random and generic at the same time. For example, black & white, online shopping versus offline shopping, etc. They expected you to have a good stand substantiated with valid reasoning and decent fluency while communicating your points. Other basic GD guidelines were followed as usual.
3. Telephonic Interview 1: The students selected after the GD round were told to expect a call from the team for the telephonic round. We were tested on our analytical skills through some guesstimates and case studies. They expected the right approach for the problem rather than the final answer. A total of 2 guesstimates and 1 case study were asked in the interview. Also, a couple of puzzles were asked to us during the interview. Lastly, they asked a bit about marketing and why we wanted to pursue this.
4. Telephonic Interview 2 (HR): This was basically the HR round where we were asked to tell about ourselves, our experiences, likes & dislikes. Our communication skills and company fit nature was also evaluated
Post this we received the final offer. The entire process went very smooth and was completed in just over 30 hours.
