30 minute meeting with a recruiter - general 'tell me about yourself' questions and what am I looking for/what are my goals.
2nd step was a take home data analysis assessment.
3rd step was an interview with the hiring manager. Didn't have a natural conversation, more robotic than anything. It was obvious they were new and didn't interview often because the interview felt very inorganic. "I'm going to ask you 6 questions.... 1st question, 2nd question.. etc"
Very strange. The interviewer also used the words "sexy and cool" to describe what she thought working at grow would be like. Lastly, when I thanked her for taking the time to speak to me she said the recruiter would reach out to me with next steps and her last words were "Later." - I understand that the culture may be more relaxed and informal, but professionalism should still be first priority. It comes across as if I wasn't being taken seriously.
After this long drawn out process and a long assessment - I was sent an impersonal automated rejection email stating that the company policy does not allow for feedback. These companies should conduct the initial interview with the hiring manager before the excel assessment, to be considerate of the candidate's time.
