Interview
The interview process included one phone interview followed by an in-person interview and personality assessment. During the in-person interview I was given a tour of the facility and was introduced to current employees which was helpful and appreciated.

Interview
Interview process was a total mess with no structure. Owner emailed me and asked for a phone interview with me. On the phone interview, owner asked pointless questions and said he wanted an in person interview with me and asked me to fill out an online personality assessment. We scheduled the in person interview which was held at another location other than their office. In person interview was rough. Owner (who conducted the interview) showed up late, then asked me the same questions he asked on the phone a few days prior. Owner said he would prefer that I had more experience and a masters degree but would look past it for now. I asked about the interview process and was informed there would be another in person interview with the owner and a manager, then a phone interview with the owner, manager and business consultant, THEN an in person interview with the owner, manager, and business consultant, AND THEN a final interview and potentially an offer.
At the next in person interview with the owner and manager (who both arrived late again), we met at a restaurant and chatted in the bar area (very unprofessional setting) where the manager spent the majority of the time watching the tvs and not listening to my answers. Owner asked me to send them a branch management plan for them to review which I provided a few days later.
Owner emailed me asking if I would be able to meet in person at their office for another interview and only then did they bring up a request for my resume. I sent them my resume, and asked for the address of their office since it could not be found anywhere online. Owner did not respond to email. I called to confirm the interview and ask for the address and the person who answered the phone didn't know about my interview but said they would get back to me. Less than a day before my interview, owner finally responds with address and confirming interview.
Arrived at interview and door was locked. I called the number and they attempted to open the door for me. Then asked me to stand outside until they knew where I should be until the owner wanted to interview me. Once they knew, they had me wait in a spare office and fill out another personality assessment which was poorly made and had little to nothing to do with qualifications.
When I went in for the interview, the business consultant had no idea of my background and asked very rude and offensive questions and made comments that were out of line and unprofessional. Owner again asked same questions from initial phone interview and did not control the interview at all. Business consultant ran the interview and was quite abrasive. The manager who was in the room asked no questions and didn't say much of anything. The questioning was angled to get me to answer in ways that were uncomfortable and inaccurate.
At the end of the interview, the owner and business consultant laughed and said the position I was called in for was no longer "on the table" and they might consider me for another position.
Owner asked as a final question if I would "respect them as a boss" which felt very out of line and uncalled for.

Interview
Interview went off subject half of time, other manager was silent most of time. Im not sure why he was in there. They did not have real experience in interviewing. They had print out of "what to ask" questions which was a big turn off. Their ad mention nothing on traveling and in interview it was a huge requirement. Interview was in the am and they were not ready for me, it seemed. They have you fill out a personality form when you get there not sure why since the place is so small. They want to act or be bigger than what they are, in my opinion.
The biggest turn off was that they wanted me to bring in samples of my work which made me think they were going to use it for their own use. I thought it was strange and odd.
I would say the interview was confusing and strange. HR folks watch out, keep your samples near you.
