      I interviewed at Greystar

      Interview

The process included a screening and two interviews. First was with the hiring manager and the second was with some team members. After the first interview I was asked my availability for a second interview and that the timeline would be a week. I didn’t hear from them for three weeks then they acted as if no time passed by. I took the 2nd interview and it was very simple and we needed up talking about things non related to the role after I had been told I’d be doing a presentation. The presentation never happened and we just had a cool conversation. Once done I asked for a timeline and nothing was known. After a week or so I reached to the recruiter and the hiring manager via email, no response. 2 weeks passed by and I reached via telephone, no response. All communications have gone unanswered over the last month and a half. This outcome isn’t ideal but I’m not mad at it. I just think it is a poor reflection of the company to not respond to any of my communications. It wouldn’t have been ideal but even an automated denial would have been fine. Not typically one to leave reviews but in this case I felt like my time wasn’t respected, and it leads me to believe that previous interactions were disingenuous. Ghosting instead of updating a candidate on their status will never sit right with me. Having people in limbo isn’t cool. No persons time is more important than another’s
