I was contacted by a recruiter who felt I was a good match. I interviewed with the CEO for about 45 minutes and was informed that they usually outsource this service but wanted to bring it in house.
The general office entry and adjoining offices appeared to be cramped and small and so was the conference room where I interviewed at a small conference table. I was impressed with the CEO's particularities about the position but his high standards certainly didn't translate into the interior office space.
Per the recruiter GreenTree is looking to fill this position through a recruiting agency as a temporary employee for a trial period. They wanted someone who was looking for a permanent position so they could come on board if everything worked out to be a good fit. During my meeting I was told without asking about this, the opposite, that it isn't their style to do this. I'm not sure what that was about but it was repeated a couple of times unprovoked. I wasn't concerned about any of that.
All in all it was an odd little place where I thought I could fit in well, improve and increase their events and join a nice tight little team. Despite the CEO's initial interest, apparently the second meeting that was supposed to happen has been cancelled.
