Quick 15 minute introductory interview. They asked me to go through my resume and then they gave me an overview of the company. Seems like a great environment, but I never heard back. I do wish I had more of an opportunity to speak to my interest in the role during the introductory interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GreenLancer in Aug 2023
Interview
A phone screen, a simple tech screen and a call with the CEO. Nothing stressful nor challenging. Got the impression that the company took a big step back from maintaining the tech they have and is trying to expand its services again. PHP and old (pre-hook) React code make up their codebase. Benefits seemed dubious, the CEO did mention untracked vacation and a 401(k) plan with company match was coming. Got the verbal notice that an offer was coming but never formally got one, no idea what the salary would have been or even its range.
I applied through other source. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at GreenLancer (Chicago, IL) in May 2016
Interview
The interview covering basic information, education background, project experience, skills and availability. The question is pretty general. And they care a lot about the responsibility you took in your previous experience.
