I applied in-person. I interviewed at Great Plains Industries
Interview
Interviewed by nearly the entire managerial staff, seven on one interview, shortly after applying. Requested a seconder interview that I entertained, then was ghosted by the company. I'm sure I hit the interviews out of the park, was able to answer every question with well thought out answers with real examples of my experiences. Their hiring process seems very shoddy and should seriously look at their process, they might be misssing out on highly qualified individuals.

Question 1
Nothing about their technologies, mostly about experience to help achieve their immediate needs rather than long term outlooks.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Great Plains Industries (Wichita, KS) in Jul 2018
Interview
Panel interview with 5 managers. Lasted a couple of hours. They made it quite clear they were going to be very thorough to find the ideal person for this job and that the process would not go fast.

Question 1
I was asked many questions. All seemed to be very well-prepared, focused and onpoint. I thought the interview went great and we all made good connections. I was looking forward to working there.
During this interview, they made a BIG point about the process would not be a quick one. I told them that was ok. We discussed I would be going out of state on vacation the next several days.
I was gone When I returned, I had a voicemail from a different HR rep from only 2 days prior to my return. In it, she asked me to come in for a 2nd interview. I tried to return the call twice and no one answered or returned my messages.
I emailed my original HR contact to express my continued interest in the position opportunity and to let her know I"d tried to contact the other HR person (her boss). She emailed me back to say they'd already found the perfect candidate and extended him an offer. (So apparently they WERE in a much bigger hurry than they told me and weren't going to be as thorough in screening to find that perfect candidate than they'd told me they would be.)
This is VERY POOR FORM and really left a bad taste in my mouth about working for this company. Doubt I would ever apply for any position there again after this.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Great Plains Industries (Wichita, KS) in Jul 2017
Interview
They ask you about your work history, then ask if you have any questions. Just go in with a great attitude and i'm sure you'll land the job. Dress Nice and show up early.
