I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Great Clips (Pittsburgh, PA) in May 2012
Interview
I was welcomed by the salon manager. I was asked general questions about my work history, abilities, and standards. Manager reviewed expectations, company philosophies, schedulng, and answered my questions thoroughly Also, a technical skill interview was required. The salon manager wanted me to show them a haircut that required some skill (no buzz cut or one length haircuts)

Question 1
How do you make a customer feel special when they are in your chair?
It was super relaxed for the most part. They mostly asked questions about my background and previous customer experience jobs. How I handled certain situations, why or why not I'd be a good fit. Standard interview stuff,

We appreciate you sharing the interview process! Thank you for the feedback.
They did an in person interview and a technical interview, it wasn't too hard of an interview process. The technical is intimidating at first but its not too bad and the manager was friendly.

I applied online. I interviewed at Great Clips (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.
