I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GrayMatter Software Services (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
I recently attended an interview process that consisted of three rounds. The first round was an online technical assessment, which included aptitude questions along with MCQs on coding, SQL, OOP concepts, and operating systems. The questions were of moderate difficulty and required a good understanding of core subjects as well as time management.
The second round was a technical interview where the interviewer focused on my projects and problem-solving skills. I was asked to explain my projects in detail, including the technologies used and my contributions. Additionally, I was given a DSA question related to sorting a string without using any built-in sorting methods, which tested my understanding of basic algorithms and logic.
The final round was a managerial interview. In this round, the discussion revolved around my internship experience, my role and responsibilities, and how I handled challenges during my internship. The interviewer also evaluated my communication skills and overall fit for the role.
Overall, the interview process was well-structured and focused on both technical knowledge and practical experience.
