I applied online. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Melbourne) in Apr 2023
Interview
I've passed the online assessment and received a phone call today detailing the digital interview I've been invited to do. It's a smart interview where they give you questions and around a minute to prepare your answer, and then you give your answer to the camera in a 2-3 minute time slot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"tell us about a time that you have..." (showed leadership, overcome a complex problem, received negative feedback and how you responded, etc.)
Upon entering the page, you will find a Kanban with four sections. The first section is for introducing yourself, without the need for recording your answer. It's just to help you warm up. The remaining three sections are for you to answer questions, with only 1 minute allotted for each response. The preparation time is very tight, so it's important to be well-prepared in advance and to practice more.

2. In keeping with Grant Thornton's mission of "Striving for Excellence," please describe the last time you went above and beyond the requirements of your position. Why is this important to you? What actions have you taken to achieve your goals?
3. At Grant Thornton, we are guided by the values of CARE: Collaboration - Authenticity - Responsibility - Excellence. Which of these 4 core values aligns best with you, and why? How do you live this value every day?
It's a video interview with four or five questions. It's all online. Each question has a one-minute response time. The entire interview won't exceed 20 minutes. It is all about the behavior questions.
