Interview process consists of a screening with a recruiter, virtual interview with manager, interview with director, and a skills assessment. I decided not to continue with the hiring process after completing the virtual interview. The manager was great; it is apparent that the company is passionate about the services they provide. Manager emphasized the extensive workload several times. However, the compensation does not align with the responsibilities, I was told pay started at $19/hr. In addition to this being a low amount, I felt misled. While applying (prior to the interview), there is a question inquiring your salary expectations, to ensure everyone is on the same page. Since they proceeded to call me afterwards, I assumed they were willing to provide the desired amount (or even remotely close). Voluntary/unlimited overtime was mentioned, although it was implied that employees resort to it to make ends meet and to be able to finish their heavy workload. Interview went well; I was told I would be moving onto the next steps in the hiring process. After the interview and further reflecting, I decided I would not move forward. In addition to the pay not sitting right with me, I did not appreciate that there was no consideration in the scheduling of the interviews. They do not allow you to suggest a time nor do they ask if their proposed time works for you, they solely notify you. Interview was in the middle of the day in the work week, which I was able to make but I did not appreciate the lack of consideration.
