Grand Homes Inc. interview questions

Showed up for the interview 10 minutes early. The interviewer then took and made phone calls for 30 minutes while I just sat and listened to his phone calls. Not so much as a handshake when I walked in. Then once the interview finally began he spoke almost the entire time. Even when he asked a question to me, he just answered it himself. I felt as if I needed to interrupt him just to explain my work history. On top of all of this I drove over an hour to the interview location just to feel ignored and dismissed before the interview even began. Overall terrible experience.

Turned me away because they assumed I made less than 100k. This was false. I corrected them, they gave me a chance. During interview, they offered me a less than normal commission for each sale until I reached 3 sales. Told me I would not find a better deal than what he’s offering me. I said let me take this home and consider since I have another possible offer early next week. (This interview was Friday afternoon). He said I only have until Monday morning to respond. Turned down the offer via email end never received a response back. Overall very off put by the whole transaction. I accepted a much better deal at another home builder with a better environment.
