Interview process was clearly communicated, professional, and within reasonable timelines to decision. Interview participants were those who would directly work with the person being hired. Better than any interview process I'd participated in prior.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked how my skills aligned with the role they were seeking to hire.
I interviewed at Grand Central Bakery (Portland, OR)
Interview
I had a call with the store manager and then had an in person interview with the same person. Other people have had their phone interview with the district manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: how have you gone above and beyond for customers in your previous positions?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Grand Central Bakery (Portland, OR) in Mar 2023
Interview
Submitted an application online, promptly received an email following up asking for available times for a phone interview. Phone interview was brief and succinct, interviewer was the shift manager basically just confirming all the information in the job description and clarifying shift hours, which were not listed in the description. Didn't ask any typical interview questions because I was disqualified after stating I could only work 4 shifts per week (job description states 4 - 5 shifts per week, but that's mostly inaccurate, they only offer 5 day work weeks except for particularly slow times of the year). Interviewer was communicative and honest, which is rare.
