1 codility challenge + 1 interview with team lead and engineer. Asked about previous project and fundamental question about machine learning and reinforcement learning. Codility challenge also include machine learning problem

First call was with HR. I was informed the next 2 interviews will be technical as my CV was already cleared as relevant for the role. However in the 2nd Interview felt very half hearted. I was interviewed by someone who was in an entirely different team and different expertise than the role i applied for. The interviewer didn't read my CV or have it opened until the start. I had to wait 5 mins for him to read the CV before we started. The first 10mins of the interview was not relevant, interviewer was indirectly asking for my age by asking when I graduated (I was applying for a quite a senior role with 8+ years experience, I have 9+years of exp) and if I am going to do or have a masters . The interviewer seemed distracted immediately after this. This tells me that he was not interested already in this part of the The rest of the interview was basically understanding what I did for my current role and that was it. The interviewer was not able to answer me when I asked what was expected for the role and what the role entails day to day or what they were looking for in a candidate. I also asked what technologies was used and was told a generic "AWS" . However my CV from the start states Ive been trained professionally in GCP. I was rejected for the role with very little feedback with a generic "not suited". It is unclear how I was evaluated when the interviewer wasn't sure what was needed for this role. This was an absolute waste of 2 weeks of preparing.
