The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied for the job online, never thinking I would get called for an interview. little I knew, I got a surprise phone interview from they're recruiter. Yes, a surprise interview, no scheduling no nothing.
Applying months before I could barely remember the job description and the interview went generally bad...
At Google they really expect you to familiarize yourself with the company and products.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
