Goodyear Manufacturing Leadership Program interview questions

I applied online through LinkedIn. Approximately 2 weeks after, I was contacted by a recruiter who told me that he was "very impressed with my qualifications." 2 weeks later, I did a panel interview with 2 hiring managers. The hiring managers told me that I was the first person they are interviewing for the role as the recruiter was once again "very impressed with my qualitications." The interview went overall decently well, and I received generally positive feedback from the hiring managers. However, despite me having an "impressive" background, I received an automated message from Workday informing me that I was not selected for the role. I emailed both the hiring managers and the recruiters to understand how it's possible for a candidate with a "very impressive" background to simply be thrown into the trash like I was. Perhaps I have some shortcomings that I need to work on? Needless to say, I did not receive a single word of reply from neither. My advice: always take the recruiters' comments with a grain of salt.
