I applied online. I interviewed at Golden Gate Regional Center (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
I applied online and there were a set of questions that you need to answer. I was contacted by the recruiter after three months. The interview was on Zoom with a supervisor and a recruiter. Before the interview I was given some scenarios to discuss during the interview. I was given an offer about two weeks after the interview.

Question 1
What are your strength and weaknesses? How do you deal with stress? How do you keep yourself organize?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Golden Gate Regional Center (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2023

3 interviews, one written portion given to complete over a weekend. Written portion had scenarios in which you discussed what steps one would take to help a client. The three interviews consisted of one over the phone with a recruiter, and then two in person interviews with Case Managers and a few lead social workers (panel of 3-4 people).

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for the job? What is a time where you had to go above and beyond your position title?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Golden Gate Regional Center (San Mateo, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
The process was long (3 months ish) and bizarre. The recruiter was very unreasonable and unethical in that he pressured me several times to be making a huge move from the east coast to the Bay Area, prior to any form of an offer. He knew from the start that I was on the other side of the country. At the end, I did not take their offer because it was well below market and my prior salary; the salary also does not recognize my Master’s degree in a different discipline. If my Bachelor’s degree (in a different discipline) is good enough to qualify me as a social worker (they offered me the position), then why isn’t my Master’s degree also be given the same recognition and be reflected in my salary? I looked up their social workers on LinkedIn and have not found one person with a relevant background in social work anyways.
