It was a very quick process. I had already been with the company for 4 years and a position opened up. I had an interview with the GM and was hired immediately.

I dont remember any specific questions. Most likely they will give you situations that you may encounter as a sales manager and ask how you would handle it. The biggest thing is leading you team and giving them the tools to be able to bring in members in the community and help to sell the brand.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gold's Gym (San Antonio, TX) in May 2013
Interview
Interview process began with an initial phone screen. A face to face interview with the general manager and a current sales manager then followed. This process was handled professionally, and in a quick manner, but this could vary from gym to gym. After the interview process, I was emailed an offer sheet which I then accepted.
