I applied for the Order Processing Team Lead role and was invited to complete a psychometric assessment before even having a screening call. After investing nearly an hour in the assessment and then completing a screening call, I was informed the annual salary is at a much lower level than the market average — a number that was never disclosed upfront despite salary expectations being collected during the application process.
This is a significant lack of respect for candidates' time. If the budget is that far below market rate, that information should be shared before asking people to complete assessments. Especially if they have already collected your salary expectations from the application moment.
The benefits also reflect the compensation level — 10 days PTO and only 3, yes, THREE sick days annually.
I'd encourage GoMaterials to reconsider its hiring process and be transparent about compensation and respectful about people's time from the start.
