GoEngineer Software Engineer interview questions

I applied to this company as a potentially returning employee, but pulled it after one of their new developers who posted the job on social media interacted negatively and said not to. Asking whether it paid median and mentioning my previous work were apparently territorial triggers. Disappointing since I have many connections there. It didn't make sense to pursue further, since salary was in question and I'd likely be working closely with someone who didn't want to.
