The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Globe Life Liberty National Division (Austin, TX) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online through a job posting. I received an email asking for me to schedule a meeting with the agency owner. I went in on the date I scheduled, and was greeted by an "agency director". He took me back, met with me for maybe 5 minutes. He briefly skimmed my resume. Asked me what I currently did, what my biggest achievement was at my current job, and why I wanted to leave. After answering his questions he "invited" me to the "second phase" of the interview. It was a group presentation for myself and 5 others. It was a sales pitch, that was supposed to take and hour, and it took 3 hours. They didn't give time to ask questions. Then I got called for a "final interview" this was the actual interview for the job. I was offered the position, however when I asked about compensation, the director I met with blew over the question. I asked what I would be doing. He said everyone starts in sales. This isn't the position I applied for. He did advise the the job was "1099" work. He advised they do not offer benefits, however you can purchase benefits at a severely discounted rates. I asked for time to think
About it, which he said I could have 1 day to think it over because they had limited positions available. Bottom line, they hold the management position interview then tell you to start at the bottom and sell sell sell to get into a higher roll. I did finally get a chance to talk to the agency owner over the phone because I wanted more questions answered. I was advised that the training is not paid, the training would be 1 week in the "main office" which was over 100 miles away from me. He advised me that there would be about 60 days until I actually start making any real money compatible to what I was making. They don't pay for your licensing because you are a "independent contractor", so it actually costs your your monthly salary and $200.00 to get licensed and then you might start making money if you sell a lot.

All questions are way too personal like "what does your S.O. thinks about this opportunity?"

Was clean and modern looking office. It gave the appearance of professionalism and was met there by the CEO himself who led the meeting. After 3 hours I got to go home only to find out we get chosen off of a personality test.

Interview
The boss is lively and energetic. The mood of the company is great also. Great place to work. Still unsure on how the pay works in the manager positions but overall seems like a great place.
